Cebu trip – an unplanned trip for me…but turned out to be fun. =)
January 14-20, 2009
With Belay, Jade and Christe!
Should have been a Cebu-Bantayan trip…
We were supposed to go to Bantayan Island but the freaking bad weather stopped us. Haaay.Lech! Milk you! Hahaha labo!
So we just enjoyed Cebu City…
January 14 – I went alone going to Cebu. (first time to travel by myself. Ohhh. =P)...I was fetched at Mactan Airport by Belay and her Tatay (thank you! =))… Then we had lunch at AA’s BBQ at Lahug (overflowing food!!! Thanks!=P)… after that, we stopped by at Taoist Temple (pics pics pics). Then to the office to fix our stuff…late afternoon, Belay and I went around to Ayala Center – Cebu (we were able to go around and see everything in 1 hour? lol)…then we went to The Terraces (like GB here but theirs is bigger)...had dinner at Hukad by Golden Cowrie (sulit ung food dito!!!) and coffee at Starbucks Coffee with Belay’s friend, Drei…after that…we just went back to the office / home.
January 15 – lazily woke up to fetch Jade and Christe at the airport…once we got there, we went straight to North Bus Terminal…road the bus for almost 3 hours going to Hagnaya Port (adventure?!)…when we got there, we learned that there were no ferry rides for the past 3 days because of the bad weather…so what do we do now?!?!?!? Go to Bohol? Iloilo? Where? Just go back to the city…haaay. We had some light lunch before going back…same bus pa? going back…again…travelling for almost 3 hours. Oh well. Then we went around to SM City…and shopped? Hehe…then back to the office. Had merienda…rested for awhile…then walked to Crown Regency Hotel for the SkyWalk experience. Adventure? It made up the cancelled trip to Bantayan. Haaay. Haha then pics pics pics….then back home.
January 16 – went to Tambuli Beach Resort to enjoy the beach…and the sun? hehe…then pics pics pics…had a good lunch…then went to the beach again…after that…we stopped by Shang Mactan (wala lang…hehe)…then went to Magellan’s Marker(?) and Lapu-Lapu Monument(?)…shopped around…then bought and ate some fresh seafood at Sutukil….then we passed by the Big Foot…pics again…then to mountain view…pics again…after that, we had dessert in Vanille at The Terraces. (thanks for the treat, Jade! =))…then kwentos and all…then back home.
January 17 – had some good lunch at Yayoy’s! (thanks for the treat, Tito! hehe) then went to check in at Elicon (ahhh…takot lang nila kay Jade! hahaha)….then just rested for awhile in the room…then went around for City tour just by walking around the streets. Waaa…scary crowd. Crowded talaga! Waaa. We went to Magellan’s Cross, and Fort San Pedro…then waited for over an hour (?) for a cab?!...haaay. then we went to Ayala Mall…had dinner at Roma Mia (sarap and cheap ribs!!!)…after that, we went to Rustans…groceries? Red horse? Hmmm…hehe then back to Elicon.

January 18 – big day! Had breakfast at the café…then straight to the streets to enjoy Sinulog! Pics pics pics everywhere! Enjoyed the parade even if we were sun burned. Haha then had quick lunch. Then back to the streets. But couldn’t take it anymore…rested in the room. And then… Jade and Belay got sick and didn’t feel well…but still…we went to hear mass at Basilica de Sto. Niño…but didn’t not finish it. =( then we went outside…looked for a cab to go to Ayala Mall. (advice? Don’t go to Ayala Mall after Sinulog…you have to go there with a car and not a cab. So many streets are closed and there’s traffic jam! D*ng driver! Haaay.) we had to walk really far going to Ayala Mall. Haaay. When we got there, jam packed mall! Grabe!!! Haaay. Anyway, we had dinner at Bigby’s (good food too!). then things happened. Di na naming alam ang gagawin…tama, Christe? Hahaha after that, we waited for a cab…for almost 2 hours. Good thing…we got a good cab, driver. Then back to Elicon. Haaay. Watta day!
January 19 – got some good rest in the morning. Then went to SM City to eat lunch at Sun Burst…then brought Jade & Christe to the airport…after that, Belay and I bought some pasalubongs…walked the streets to shop. Then back to the office. Had dinner with Belay’s dad again…then rested.
January 20 – breakfast at Orange and Brutus…then went to Watsons…back to the office. Surfed the net…uploaded pics…made a facebook account for Belay. Hahaha then for lunch? Da Vinci’s pizza! Ate it while on the way to the airport. Then there… waited…flew back home. Took pics of the sun while on PAL flight. Yay! Then back home…=)
It was a fun trip…but we have to go back coz we missed Bantayan! =P

3 days late for a round up of 2008?
Oh well. It’s fine. Haha labo.
So many things happened to me last 2008.
There have been good and bad times.
Let’s start with the not so good ones?
Hmm…I guess… it just sums up that I resigned…and until now I am still struggling to find a work. It had been frustrating to be unproductive and somehow feel unhelpful…and other negative things come into mind.
Oh well.
What else?
I guess…some relationships with other people have been not so good or nothing is happening…just disappointing.
Ok…
’nuff of that.
Good ones?
I’ll start with what happened way back and now…
Hmmm…
- Ninang Venia’s visited us. As a family, we traveled to different places…ate together as a family…lots of pics…and just enjoying the moment with her.
- My first time to celebrate my birthday with some co-workers. It was fun and I miss my friends back there!
- Traveled back again to Boracay for the summer. Yay! Just love the beach. And just being with friends…trippings and dressing up? hahaha =)
- Back to our home. It was a good feeling…after how many years, we got a new house.
And with the house blessing, both sides of the family and also with friends came around together. The house was a dream…and it’s a blessing.
- Spanish language classes. I love learning new things…and being able to gain knowledge of another language is really something. Aside from learning, I gained new friends. ¡genial!
- Thailand trip. I learned a new culture…and even with the freaking heat there, it was fun…and of course, just traveling with the family, doing some shopping and had my photography thingy! Yay! And oh, I also learned how to appreciate our own culture. Yea.
- TLC reunion. It was a one-great-night. It was a blast! Nostalgic?! Yeah. It feels good to see and talk to my long time friends. Awww…=P
- bummer days. Goin' around with Nina & Belay…for their business? Bingo? Ice cream making? Goin' to chool? For the tix? Games? Screwed? Oh well. Haha
- food trips. There were really great restaurants and food that I was able to try this year…hopefully, there'll be more. =P
- together with friends...year enders. A day with Bwes, Butas thing dinner and the chumsmas party. Eating together and playing games. Twas fun! Yay!
- family celebrations. Just being with the family…eating together. Talking. Catching up with each other…especially with my cousins and my pamangkins…And taking lots of pics…
And now…2009.
It’s been just days…and it's been good. Nice?! Yeah. hahaha
Ugh..Well, I should feel good.
Be positive and look forward to this New Year.

Hmm…Just the start of the year…
we celebrated and welcomed the New Year here at our house. It’s a new house…and we’re back! yay!
I just miss the traditions…especially in our neighborhood…lol
Our neighbors, that are also our close family friends, came here at home to eat with us…then next stop to the other house…then the other house…then back here at home to have some drinks.
Together with my sister and our friends…we had cocktails (coz I don’t like beer. hahaha). Some margarita and mojito done by our own bartender! hahaha
Then some SFC friends came by…to join us…we had some drinks…lots of food…
and the guys? Oh well. They were pretty much acting like kids…and doing all the crazy stuff that they can do with the fireworks. It was a fun night.
Ooops…not night? More of like a morning. Hahaha
we ended up around 6am already. haha
It was a good first day of the year…celebrating with Mommy & Ate Mylynne…and oh, Daddy was also with us. ( nice knowing he was there ;) ) and with our neighbors…family close friends…SFC friends. It was really a great one!
Then the next day…was the birthday of my Daddy. We went to San Pablo…we stopped by at McDo for some breakfast together with our relatives. After that, we went to visit our Nanay Geling…then to my Daddy. We prayed…then talk talk talk…
After that, we went to our house in San Pablo and had lunch with Tita Nery’s Family. It was really a fun lunch while we were watching some family videos in the past. It was sooo fun…laughtrip! seeing my nephews and niece who were still small and were so funny and so dang cute. Hahaha
Then after that…some shopping at Liliw. Just bought some new slippers. Hehe
Then for dinner…they went to our house. And just for a few hours, we had plenty of pictures just around the house. It was just fun. I sooo love my pamangkins even if they are sometimes a pain in the ass! Hahaha kidding! =P
Well…being with the family and friends…
I am thankful to those experiences that in my life.
There is joy beyond all the challenges in life.
I feel so blessed to have my family and friends with me.
And now…it’s up to me to do my best also to make the most out of my life.
And make my life better.
I hope and really pray for the best this 2009…not only for me but for my family and friends.
