Oh my…
After 4 full (as in full! Coz of Paps and my sister.) shots of tequila sombrero, I writing now my blog that I’ve been wanting to post.
Well, I actually wanted to do a blog but I really didn’t know what to really post.
Hmm… let’s see…*still kinda tipsy* haha
This year’s celebration of Christmas was a different one again compared to last year (read my old blog about it).
There are again changes that some of which I really don’t like but then I know I have to deal with it. I still do miss my daddy with all these celebrations (how I wish he is still with us) but yeah, I know…he’s having a blast there with the Lord.
Anyway, we celebrated our Christmas with my Tita Nery’s family. Every one of us prepared together and helped each other with our food for Christmas. Each family had their own food to share too. There were lots of food and booze that made everyone so hyper…makulit…drunk(?)… and simply happy. We actually all had fun, especially when the kids excitedly opened their gifts in the early morning of Christmas. *pictures everywhere again…haha*

I just really love being with the family and with my pamangkins. Nothing really beats to be with your family with these occasions. Right? Look.

With that, we also surprised our relatives in the US with a call while we were celebrating. They were surprised with our call too! Everyone just talked a bit with each other just to greet a Merry Christmas. It was fun talking to them.

It really feels good to talk and be together with your family…relatives…love ones….that you wish that it will always be that way or even be way better. And I am just thankful for those moments …and of course, thankful to the Lord. He is the reason why all we have these celebrations and happiness. Thank you!

the good stuff at work

I know I haven’t talked about work that much here. Maybe because I don’t want to or there’s nothing to talk about…But last week was a different one! There were some good stuff at work…haha

Actually…it’s nothing much… nothing much these days at work…haha labo!

Not much of work/accounts to do…which is great! easy and not much pressure at all…(so, I have to enjoy it! haha)

What else?

Oh…Last Monday, we had our Christmas Party at the office. We had a dance presentation (that I can’t believe that I did those things…those office stuff…to put it in a better term na lang, “oldy stuff” for me. Haha oh, gah…nuff about it! Don’t want to talk about it na…haha but it was all fun)…and we won! Everyone had fun especially with all the laughtrip presentations of each team! The next day, we treated ourselves with a yellow cab pizza for lunch while watching our presentation in video (for personal consumption lang yun…haha)!

And also the good thing too this week (aside from some surprise bonus? haha), I got regularized! Yay! Together with MM (my batchmate), we had a good talk with my magaling and sobrang bait boss! Haha it was a fun talk too...(thanks, Ma’am Shellane!)

Oh…with that, we gave her a “thank you” gift! It was a calendar stand that says “I love my staff”! haha she was happy about it laugtrip again! Ang kulit namin!

So with the regularization thingy, we were obliged to treat the team with some sundae. And we did! Together with the celebration of Trissa’s birthday…and last day of work before Christmas…Everyone were so happy just having fun as well with the other bosses around! There were gifts…food…pictures all over too! haha

And so before, leaving the office…shot muna? Haha had some tequila rose. Gah! that made me dizzy(?) a bit! Ang kulit ng mga boss kasi! Puro kalokohan and laughtrip! Everyone were just really having fun and feeling the holiday spirit! Haha

Ah…how I wish that it’s always like this at work…fun and not pressure!

Friends who understands you (and not mock you! Haaay.), who are feels the same way with things at work…with people and with life…haha

After such a freaking lousy, stressful week…and to the point of not eating dinner because of just being too tired …I needed a break!
Such a stress reliever just to hang with friends…and have a "quick" dinner? Haha tama ba? Quick one? Instant gimik, huh?

After work last Friday, I was able to meet up my friends…butas! Haha well, these are my (close by) friend…that means (aside from being close friends)…uh, we are just like neighbours…haha close by!

I met up Ira and Janet! (So nice to see them both! Awww…haha)
As usual, Janet had a car and drove us to GB.(eating and talking while on traffice ah? haha fun!)

We had dinner at NSG (again..remembering the good times? haha). We just chatted…ranted about everything that's been happening with us now…especially with work. Some things…really just suck..and you just have to let out sometimes..and that's a good thing…I mean, let it out with those friends who listens to you…and understands how you feel. And at least with them, you can be you! And at least be happy despite everything…

So…what else? Yeah… we just had a good dinner…

(look oh? just water for dinner? hahaha)

then when Ira left, Janet and I got coffee and went around Glorietta… as in went around! Haha just to find some dress and blouse that we need for parties coming up…we went to several shops…like until around 11pm. Haha sooo late…tiring but fun!

..t'was scary :(

Today was just a no ordinary day…right?

As usual, I got to work early despite the traffic and the freaking lousy weather. I learned that my boss is on leave. So yeah, last day of work this week and with no boss around…yay! no pressure! haha

So, I just edited some paper works…played some games in the computer. Nothing much! And oh...most of the time, our group was just chatting around…and laughing out loud…haha no pressure with work though. It was all fun at work…

then there…

Things happen! Such crappy things happen.

Really didn’t know what was happening around. All I know there was a walk out by that Trillanes, that Lim and company…they go straight to Manila Peninsula.

So yeah…but nothing much, right?

Yeah.. until we got all calls and texts from our family and friends on what was really happening.

Dang! It’s something serious! Really serious that the military..soldiers…everyone…tanks are all there already at the Manila Pen.

Dang! And it’s like only two blocks from our office! Gah?! The heck! What was really happening?! waaa

Everyone in the building was kinda panicking in the office…oh well.

Then when I was about to leave the office… some people who left just left the office came back! And saying… “wala munang baba…nasa baba na natin sila.”

Wutt? What was that all about?

Some of us looked outside the office…and there you go! I see some people running back to the office…and men in black with guns…snipers…they were the swat team! Yikes!

And there... that hit me! It scared me!

I was really scared…that all these were really all happening and I'm just near the area…

oh, crap!

Then I call out to my sister again and tell her that I can’t meet here up right away coz some of the swat people are just around the office…and some say they’re gun shots already….waaa scaaary. And hear that there are tanks already at the lobby of the hotel…waaaaaa

So there…We can’t go out in front of the office…kinda locked out for a while…but some people left after some time...and just a few who were left at our floor...that scared me too...It was like I had no one with me already...So, I had to leave despite all things...

So there...people had to use the back of the office to go out…and my sister was there too…scared…and just fetched me…then we stayed a bit at her office coz we do not know how the heck we’ll go home. Haaay.

To cut the story short, we got home safely. And that’s the good thing.

But then...you get to see on TV what really happened. People are sooo pathetic!

Mga walang magawa talaga sa buhay oh! tssssssss! haaay!

Dang! People are just too insensitive. I don’t think they even thought about what they did…and that goes to both sides…haaay.

Elected public official doing that?...

letting the tanks get inside the lobby?...

military men all over?...

What the heck? Does that solve a problem? Pathetic!

Oh please…nuff of these crappiness!

Contemplating?!

Gah! I’ve never encountered about money problems in my life. All my life, I know how to save and budget my money...money was an easy thing for me to manage. Not a problem at all. But now...I’m contemplating onto something that involves money.

As you all know, our house is being constructed. There’s a lot of money that we need to finish it (contrary to what people think or say...tsss! [check out my other blog site if you wanna know something about it]). I am helping out the family in paying some bills (not that I am obliged to)...well, that's the least that I can do given the fact that I have a low salary (duh?! haha).

But then I also have some things that I want to buy and want to do!

I dunno if I should sacrifice with what I want or not.

Or is it wrong to do something? Buy something and do what I really want?

Jade texted me this morning about a certain trip. We've been talking about it for some time already. And now, I think...it's going to happen. haha (that's all good!)

It’s a Batanes art and photo expedition on April 2008. It’s 16k...all in! There’s food, transpo, tour and photo lectures (am I right?!).

That’s a good deal, right?! The trip is just fine for me!

Not a problem.

But here's the problem for me... (haha I know it’s so shallow...but it's something for me.)

…I want a dslr!!! haha

But I dunno if I can afford it...well, I think I can but I dunno.

It’s something that I want now (oh my...I’m really becoming a photography enthusiast. haha)…but I dunno if my mom and my sister would be happy about it...it's because its not time to spend a lot of money coz there's so many expenses now.

Actually, here's my plan...(well, I do plan a lot...sorry, if it's OC or OCD? haha nuff about that.)

I want to have a dslr by December or January...

After that, I want to enrol to photography classes by the end of January till February.

By that time, I know how it all works and I can use it in trips like the one for Batanes.

It’s more of…

I want to have a dlsr and know something about it ...

use it when I get to Batanes…

coz its once in a lifetime experience and I want it to make it right.

All these…

At the same time, I am able to help out my family.

Hmm…well, I just wanted to post this info about footy here.
It’s been sometime that I posted about it. Not so much going on with the team actually.
Why?
Because they’re not going to the SEA Games! How great is that?! Pathetic reasons! No funds of sending ‘em out coz of lack of funding?! while they've actually have been given money?! That’s full of crap!
Or is it because its election time?

Come on…give the guys a break!
They’re peaking already and you guys are hindering them from going far now that they actually have a chance of a medal!

Oh…well. Corruptness.
That’s what makes it suck!

Anyway, I was able to chat with a mate? Haha fine,a friend, i guess…online...
I asked, “aren't you guys going to the * dinner...the * thing on dec? just asking..”.
He said, “no because we were meant to play in * but they wouldnt pay for the * team to go so im not very happy with the *.”

Yeah… way to go! Haha ditch ‘em! Haha just kidding...

Anyway, ...but what’s sad actually…
and I feel for them about this whole thing not playing…

Little things...

Having some time off with work, I was able to rest and be with my family.
It gave me time to see and think about some little things…and can be a big thing?
There have been some good and not so good things.

Hmm... not so good thing first?
- being at the cemetery. (it’s not that I don’t want to visit my relatives and my daddy, it’s just that…I don’t want to be there. I don’t want to visit my daddy coz I want him to be here always by my side and still with us… I guess, I am still not used to it. Not used to the changes…)
- hearing conversations about what’s happening around because of some changes or things that happened.
- hearing people close to you saying that we are a well-off family and we don't need anything makes me feel sad and cry a bit.
(that's a good thing? nah! for me, it’s not a good thing. i just feel that they are looking at us the wrong way....I guess, they just don't really know us...haaay. what we have now, what we have achieved as a family, those are the results of all the sacrifices and hard work of my parents.)

Good thing?
- Just being with the family...and praying...remembering family members who are with the Lord already.
- seeing my cousins and my pamangkins! (it takes some effort to travel and be together...)
- My cousin, Kuya Elmer / Paps, leaning on me so heavily on my back while we were resting on bed. (Actually, i didn't want it in some ways...but i know he is just being makulit and just being sweet? haha)
- taking several pictures with my family...cousins...pamangkins. (and sometimes, I am not in the picture coz I am the one taking it. grrr..Now, I think that's the not so good thing part...haha)
- practicing my photography on whatever thing I see at the cemetery...like the flowers, candles, cross...just anything...haha
- hearing CJ, my godson, says "gusto ko ung juicy!" (haha that's what he said when he was eating his chicken joy!)
- having a contest with CJ on eating Cheetos (hot flavor) together without drinking water! haha and seeing him all sweaty and getting red while I was giving him the Cheetos that are big, long and so red! haha laughtrip!
- seeing my niece, Kyla, approaching me and i don't know why...and whispers, "kadiriii..." (haha that's what we taught her...the "eww, kadiriii" expression..haha wala lang.)
- seeing and hearing the Lola's telling Kyla what to do…this and that…on how she’ll be posing for pictures.
- My cousin, Kuya Ernie / Pugs, tells me, "Irene, gumanito ka sa lupa. (demonstrating on hearing the ground) may maririnig ka na radyo. nasa AM pa." and I asking him, "baket? ahhh..." (Then I get his point) -- This happened when we were at the cemetery visiting my daddy. (Daddy has always a radio with him and listening to the news) that is such a nice little thing to hear. It just goes to show that they know my daddy, their Tito Rene, who was also a big part of their life even if he is not directly related to him. It also shows that daddy touched them in some ways coz I know they won't say that if he didn't, right? I guess he misses daddy too like all of us. It makes me happy.

ummm... these are some little things that happened to me these past few days...which makes me appreciate it.
It’s just also so nice to recall and reflect to these moments.
It teaches me to learn a few things...some makes me sad but some of it lets me be thankful also.

about where i am now?
hmm...

i've been thinking and setting a time when i'll be leaving to a place that i really don't want i've been doing. i'd say maybe on march or april next year coz i am not really happy with what i am doing everyday though i really like the people around me.
but then...there!
last friday, it tells me its fun to stay...well, mostly because of the people (again, not because of what i'm into).
we all had lunch together...some of them went out to get some food ... got some orders and had take out at bugong.
come lunch time, we all ate our food together at our area with our boss.
it's so much fun just sitting together having a good lunch (sarap ng bugong food! haha) and telling funny stories.
where can you have this kind of thing at work? haha
i mean, you have a boss that i sooo good...laughtrip at times...really funny...and sobrang bait?
gah! she's really a good boss and a person to talk too.
also, other officemates are really funny too when you hear all their stories.
as for me, i was just sitting there..quietly listening to them and also laughing at what they have been telling.
i have to admit it...even though i've been not liking where i am now...that thing that happened, it was fun!
now, it's just getting hard to let go of those good people around you. right?

but the thing is...

I can’t believe that I am even writing this blog write now. I’m pretty much sleepy now but I still want to write…haha labo! (ira kasi ehhh…haha)

Just an eventful thing just happened a few hours ago. Haha

Was able to go back to school after work. Janet and I were pretty much late (no more over overflowing food left for us like before …haaay. haha)…but we were just in time to celebrate and join the animo party with Ira and Renee and of course, with the rest of the La Sallian community!

Gah! That was really something! Brings back the good all days!( Sooo…miss those days! Waaaa)

As usual, all the La Sallians where there! Jam packed Taft? Hehe

So…what happened? Laughtrip! I hope someone can upload what happened. As usual, the team had their funny speeches…and what else?! danced again with their song, because of you! Laughtrip…Rico, Cholo and Pj!

And plus…guess what?

Coach Franz!

It was a different Coach Franz that I’ve seen. He was really funny. He danced along with the team and all his speeches were really funny too! Ang kulit!!!

But what I also wanted was the live webcast.

I actually wanted to go to both parties of DLSU and DLSZ. Good thing…I kinda felt a bit? The party in Zobel. Coach Boris and Joshua Webb (i really hope he'll be a Green Archer! haha) were able to talk to the team and the rest of the La Sallians at Taft.

That webcast was really something! Ang galing!

aww...It’s just so nice to see how we all celebrate together our victories.

I'm just greatful too that I was able to see their games that led to championships.

and be part of the games...and celebrations? haha

honestly, i was't sure if we'll make it through in today's game.
janet offered me some tickets last night...but it was upper b. i didn't like the ticket...haha so i opted just to stay home and just watch.

i don't care about the ticket. what matters is the game that we had to win.

having my breakfast today, i was still thinking about the game. haha can't get over thinking about it. then as usual, i read my daily IHS...well...honestly, i wanted it to talk to me...and there! it did!

oh...something that i needed with what i was feeling.

people say that this win of ours is a sign of vindication. and i think it is! after being suspended (for being honest), this is our time!

when he hit that shot, my sister was jumping and screaming sooo loud inside our home! waaaaaaaa oh, i think our neighbors heard us. haha we were kinda loud. but so what? hahaha
i'm just so happy with that shot! such composure displayed by the whole team....and great great great overtime game for them! the momentum was with the team! they were all doing everything...especially with their inside game.
and sooo wow! with the freethrow shooting! and rebounds as well.
galing talaga! and also with Manguera's shooting outside...Capacio's inside game and Webb's shooting and rebounding. and what was that? spider's game? haha 19 points and 21 rebounds? wow! rebounds were higher that its shooting points ah...haha nice! can't wait to see him next year...hopefully with the Green Archers!

oh...side note? laughtrip. the kids were just really cheering for Zobel...shouting and having their own banners with them....they were so cute cheering... and i think they even went to the back of the bench of ADMU. haha ang kulit! and i heard that the security didn't really know what to do with them. hahaha such good kids!!!

anyway....again... good game! kudos to the team, coaching staff, and everyone back at Zobel!

missing games?

wow! i can't still believe that i am not at the basketball games!
such a loser? haha
i can't even watch the important games or just even watch it on tv. grr! (hay naku...missing games....all because of work!)
all i get are just some updates though texts.
can't believe that! haaay.
oh, and when i got a text with just seconds on the game, i suddenly became nervous!

but it made me feel sooo good when i knew that DLSU beat ADMU with just a point.
it's still a win! and we're twice-to-beat! yay!

new home?

i'm kinda not diggin' it though... haha
after 23 years of living in the same simple house, our family is moving to another house. well, at least in the next 6 months only. haaay.
it was really tiring fixing stuff and moving it over to the other house. my legs and back was really hurting.
but what's worse? DLSU lost again to ADMU! grr.
anyway, back to the topic. haha
we're renting out a house just around the village. and we just don't know anyone from the neighborhood. sucks! but i just hope things will go well in the next few months staying in a place that hopefully, i can feel home? haha
but what i am really looking forward is our "new" real home.
i'm already thinking how it will actually look like. and i am making plans as well how i am going to design my own room. yay! haha
gah. i'm really excited about it!

it's like people are all against you. there is this feeling of emptiness. it seems that everything that you do is wrong even if you are just asking questions, it's better to do nothing and just shut up. because everytime you say something, they take it against you. and you would feel stupid sometimes. you feel

sometimes you just do not know but sometimes you would think it's because the person that loves you and was always by your side is not there anymore. you lost that person. and now, no one is there to back you up and make you feel better. imposiblle as it may seem, you want that person to just comeback. taking back what was lost. you just want to make things better like before.

is that it's the people you care and love that let's you feel this.

What’s up work?!

Again… it’s been awhile that I haven’t posted here…hehe

Busy with work?

Nah…just tired always and no have time to write one…
Anyway, I finally got my first ever salary…not! Haha Well, I actually got it but (not that I have to) I gave it all to my parents. Left my mommy and daddy a note,
“Here’s my first salary! It’s not too much but it’s all yours! Thank you for everything! Love you!”
So there it goes…mom saw it then she talked to me with my sister. She told me that it’s okay…I can take it and not give it to them. She told me just treat the family coz that’s what daddy would want…and give some for my Nanay too. But I told her that it’s all for her as well as for daddy. And I jokingly told her that, “minsan lang naman po iyan…that’s the first…and last? haha”
After all the conversation…I was kinda emotional that night. I remembered daddy again. (I’m such a daddy’s girl talaga! Haha) nothing… I cried with some thoughts of daddy being there for me…seeing me work and all… as well at least giving something back to them. I know it’s not that much but…at least I tried. I just wanted to give back what they gave me. I know I can’t repay them coz they’ve given so much…pero at least, a little of something… di ba? So there… I miss my daddy again…oh well.

Got to handle some accounts and talked to some clients…but I dunno.. still in the process of learning how things go at work…but sorry, I’m not really into the banking industry...haaay.

What just keep me now are the staff and new friends who are really friendly and laughtrip! And as well, we have food everyday to share? Haha as well as my boss who is super bait! And of course, my kabarkada’s (aww…haha) Belay and Nina who just been always there…to chat and all. hehe
But with work and what I am into…I dunno.

still hasn’t sunk in?

So many things happened to me these past few days.
And I think I’ll be bringing it all on through the coming days…months…and in everything. Haha

Umm… why? what happened?
I surprised my friend, Nina, when she saw my name for the orientation and called me right away. Actually, I really didn’t have any plans of telling her about it but just to surprise her on the day of the orientation coz I know she’d be there. Speaking of surprises, was I a surprise for Belay too? Yes, I was! haha

Anyway, I went to the orientation for work last Thursday and Friday. I really didn’t know what to expect…but then I learned a lot. I was surprised…or it was just really something new to me that the one who was handling the orientation was my friend, Nina. And yeah…I’m proud of you, Nina! Wala lang…ang galing! On how she handled everything…hehe
So, what else? Oh yeah…I met lots of friendly people too…that I hope I’ll be seeing them more at work.
At the end of those days, hay naku! I get all the teases(?) from Nina and Belay!
Kakulitan lang when Belay introduced me to her officemate that I am there….another kabarkada… she said something like this, “actually, kinukompleto namin ang barakada namin dito eh!” haha but that’s not true! Pero laughtrip! Haha Basta all those kakulitan…away…laitan…payamanan(?)…and all…it was fun though!

And to end the weekday…gah! It rained so hard…floods and traffic everywhere. Good thing we had plans…to not go home yet and be stuck on the road for several hours…

Belay, Nina, Jade, Rubs and I ate dinner at Bed Space at GB3…had some pizza and pasta…oh, also lots of big onion rings. Haha but then Rubs left early coz she had to go back to work… Then after that…had some drinks…hard drinks! Wahaha Had the frozen something…haha I won’t say the name of the drink. Lousy at kakahiya ung name. Haha Then…Belay left early coz she still has a class the next day…The three of us that were left stayed there for awhile just to update …and kwentos to what has been happening to our lives…but much more to Jade and Nina since nothing much is happening with me. haha

After that, we went to check out Tropezz at GB3! watched some live bands…while drinking some..umm….Heineken? haha just tried that one…and some nachos and chicken lollipops? While they also had their own drinks… and again…kwentos! About everything in life (?) …what’s been happening and other plans as well…it was all good to be always with your friends! Gah! I missed them a lot! Umm…We ended the night or morning (?) getting wet going to the car of Jade at the parking lot. Haha They brought me to my sister’s office who worked all day/night…we were fetched by Jim. With no traffic on the road, we got home around 1:30am already…
Gah! Was really sleepy but I had fun!

So…those two days were really something!

But after all these….it still hasn’t sunk in to me that I have a work already?
Gah… can’t feel any excitement. Oh well.
I am just really hoping and praying that this just one will be a fulfilling and enjoying one. *please pray for me too*

And yes, I know…Nina and Belay, I know I surprised you and it hasn’t sunk into you both as well that I am gonna be working with you at the same company. Haha Even if I am feeling confused or not that ready yet what I am getting into, it think it will be both of you that will keep me up on this! (naks! Haha but true…)
