Day-off for long…haha

After almost a month of not having a helper in the house (being always alone and doing all the chores), I got a day off… and I think it will be for long.(we have a helper na! haha)

Last Saturday, I went out with my good friend (naks!) Ira. It was supposed to be a group thing with Janet (who kinda ditched us…haha) and Adrian (Labo mo…haha) but it became again… a “deyt”. Hahaha for all I care… its ok.. it was a mini birthday celebration of Ira! And I enjoyed it (why? Coz of the treatsssss..wahahaha) we went around… watched a movie (night in the museum…know your history, dude! haha) and of course, we talked! About what? So many crazy things in this world and people too… wahahaha but it was all fun! ..as always…then I’ll be seeing the kada this Wednesday! Yay! Even though I don’t like the idea of meeting around in Makati, I’ll still go coz I want to see them and there’s so much to talk about, di ba? But surely, it’ll be fun.

You know… being a bum and all sucks sometimes. So it’s a big thing for me to be able to go out. I’m always stuck at home. Doing nothing. Just watching tv, read books (sometimes), series marathon, reading blogs of friends and here… doing crazy stuff here in the computer…messages coming from people whom you don’t expect to reply…can make you all gaga! *wonderful crazy* Wahahaha nuff of that.

But hey! I know I have to enjoy it … you know, being a bum…coz I know I’ll miss all these when I go and jump to the real world. So now…I’m taking my time to rest. I think I deserve it naman!

*hey mates? hahaha*

Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to do. -- Pele

Not everybody knows that football was the first sports that I played (just for fun) in school. Well…I just enjoyed the game together with my friends. Both boys and girls will play together every after lunch in our school grounds under the sun. yeah! It was all fun… (aww… I miss my friends in grade school…haha)

Anyway, I’ve been watching football these days especially coming from the ASEAN Football Federation Championship - Qualifying that was held in Bacolod City last year. They were really great in the games and all of the people were just having fun…also the football team! (crazy!) What’s good with these wins was that we ranked 171 from 184 in the FIFA world rakings. (I know it’s still low but at least we are improving.) It still speaks a lot! (but I hope it doesn’t go down with the results now…)

Well, the Philippine team qualified for the 2007 ASEAN Football Championship Cup! They were able to play against top teams. However, a big blow to the team before the tournament was that our top striker Phil Younghusband was out. Chelsea did not let him play because of career reasons. (fine…whatever is best for you…mabait ka naman eh…haha) but at least his brother James is playing (really…yay! haha). The Philippines belonged to group A along with Malaysia, Thailand and Myanmar. Oh.. it’s a tough group.. but still… try to be a positive thinker, di ba? Hay

Philippines 0

Malaysia    4

The first game that they played was against Malaysia. The game sucked big time! There were so many fouls that were given by the scary looking Malaysian players…hehe We were all in contention until a big downer came…del Rosario gave a goal to the other team! D*mn it! And to add to the disappointing game were Borromeo, team captain, got a knee injury that brought him out of the tournament and James Younghusband badly pulled his hamstring though he was able to comeback to the game.

Philippines 0

Thailand     4

The second game was against the three time champions, Thailand. I think they played better here. What was disappointing was that I do not think that Casas should be the goalkeeper (sorry). He is too small to be one and there were some decisions that he made that were not quite good *sigh* But we had some chances unlike the other game. There were some goals that were missed by Chris Greatwich (ok…it’s fine…you did your best.). Another good thing was that our second half game gave the Thai’s a hard time. Hahaha. Great defense. Our team came back even though you can see that they are all tired already. Great attitude!  But the downer for was…James Younghusband only played only in the first half…hehe. Why? I hope it’s only because of the injury that he got last time...awww...Poor him…hehe.

Philippines 0

Myanmar   0

The third game was ended with a draw, nil-nil, against Myanmar. It was a surprise for almost everyone. The Philippines denied them for the semifinal slot! Hahaha though there were several fouls given by Myanmar, the team did everything that they could. Casas has improved being the GK, saved a lot of shots. yey! They guys were great in defending…they were aggressive all through out! Christ Greatwich did a good job too in offense, defense and being the captain. Oh, and Anton del Rosario did a good at blocking that ball with his head…haha Valeroso was aggressive too in attacking. Too bad he lost some chances. And also, James Younghusband did a good job in the entire passing and defending, stealing during the game. You can really see that he worked hard, took several free kicks and was all over the place. Too bad, he got hurt and wasn’t able to comeback. (ok.. am I getting bias? haha) but it was the best of the team among the three games!!!

[ a NIL??? Ok. Now. Where the heck is Phil when you need him? hayyy…but its fine…whatever is best for you…haha]

Overall, I was impressed with the performance of the team given the fact that they only trained together for a few weeks together, injuries everywhere and they went up against these Pro players from different countries. Though most in our team are college players, they played with a gung ho attitude! Hahaha the Philippine football team just needs more conditioning / training, more exposure to the international scene even in some friendly games and of course, support from everyone! Ok? Let’s support football not only basketball (though I love that sports too…haha). And yeah… the future is bright with the Philippine lad that is growing with confidence…but we need more support and experience to have them all together!

Oh…Hey mates? (Wahahaha)

Even though we lost… it was still a good team performance … you tried your very best…and that’s what matters!

and of course,

You’re the hottest good-looking football players/team in Asia (because of…….. hahaha)!

(check out and compare all the pictures…scaryyy talaga ung iba kasi....hahaha…)

That’s really a FACT!

Go AZKALS!!! lol

x

*aww…i’m gonna miss watching you guys play football…*

Can’t stop…wonderful crazy surprises!

[in the state of insanity...tsk tsk...haha]

*excerpt from the song Wonderful Crazy by Katelyn Tarver*

It's a wonderful crazy

It's a beautiful out of control

Kinda scary amazing

But I don't really mind at all

It's like I'm falling, flying, laughing, crying

Hanging on and letting go

Cause my life' so wonderful crazy crazy crazy

When you’re all alone and bored, you try to do something that can keep you going. Sometimes you take the chances of getting something from doing something bizarre. Like when you give a message to someone that you know or everybody knows but that someone does not really know you. That someone is a star and you are not.

Well, you try not to expect something from it as much as possible. But when a message that pops up in your screen that shows that you have a new message coming from that someone, your heart beats really really really fast! You get ecstatic…giddy…scream all over the place like a crazy person whose on crack (like anyone would care…hahaha) and you just can’t stop it at all!

Just a simple message… like a thank you and updating you…That can mean nothing to others but to you, it’s something really big! Hahaha Some of these few exchanges of messages here and there… accepting and at least acknowledging each other ...is something.

You learn to be happy in the simplest way.

You learn to be contented in those simple happy moments.

You learn to be thankful to those simple things that can cheer you up.

And when you look back at it…[d*mn it!] you’ll be laughing crazy at yourself…hahaha because it’s so shallow? superficial? foolish?

Uh, No! What the heck! Who cares!

Laugh. Be crazy. Smile.

What matters is that it made you happy even just for a while in those crazy moments. These are the little things that can make you happy and be all over it... It’s so simple…yet the feelings...sometimes...

You just can’t stop it!

Stop wuttt?

Stop wuttt?

Stop wuttt?

Those feelings in those simple… little… wonderful crazy…moments..

That can make you gaga all over about it!

*can’t wipe off that smile on your face?*

Waaaaaaaaaaaa

Oh yeah, life is pretty much full of surprises!!! hahaha

*you just can’t stop listening to this song…here’s the lyrics*

Wonderful Crazy

by Katelyn Tarver

Welcome to a new day

Don't know what’s on the way

But whatever it is I'll be ready

On your mark get set go

Here's the show and the road

But with you it's a load I can carry

And with each breath I would take it

Every moment gonna make it

CHORUS

It's a wonderful crazy

It's a beautiful out of control

Kinda scary amazing

But I don't really mind at all

It's like I'm falling, flying, laughing, crying

Hanging on and letting go

Cause my life' s so wonderful crazy crazy crazy

Some days get intense

And breakdown my defense

But I'm here and I'm not giving up

Gonna take in the sights

On the ride of my life

Living just to survive's not enough

So much love to discover

I don't need any other

REPEAT CHORUS

And I’m healing

but embracing my feeling

Of the strange and the new

Of the love that I found on you

REPEAT CHORUS

Holidays. Changes. Moments…Faith. *Fresh start?

*I love holidays.*

*I hate changes.*

There were so many things that had happened these past few days as we celebrated the holidays. I grew up loving celebrations because it brings the whole family together. Just to talk and eat. I love those moments. Simple yet it brings me joy. But with the things that had happened in my life, some things have changed.

As usual, our family celebrated Christmas in San Pablo, Laguna. Other members of the family were present for also some reasons. It was the first time for us to celebrate Christmas Eve with some relatives. It was usually the only four of us who celebrates it. But now, it’s different. Not because some of our relatives were present but my dad is not with us to celebrate. But despite that, we made the most out of the circumstances. We had pictures everywhere and MMS everywhere with our relatives just to know what’s been happening with all the celebrations. We had some phone calls from the US, Q.C. and Boracay to hear and say greetings with relatives. For the traditional Christmas lunch, we still had it together with my dad’s side of the family with my Nanay Geling, my dad’s mother. We ate a lot and talked about so many things but still you can sense that we all miss the presence of my dad.

Another celebration was the traditional chums party! Haha I always look forward to this because it’s the only time that the kada are complete. We usually have the party at a friend’s house just to eat, play games and do whatever. However for a change, we had a simple dinner at Vivere. (yes! We’re growing up na! haha) everyone dressed up and looked gorgeous for the night! It was a must! (haha tama ba?) We had dinner together along with the beautiful view of Alabang? Haha and the great cold windy weather! Waaaaa and oh! We saw some fireworks too! And there were pictures everywhere again...as always…(I’ll post the pictures soon…when I have them all..oh credit pia for the collage..yay!) and to end the night, we just hanged at Starbucks Madrigal.

Oh, I was supposed to meet my best friend. Well, we have been friends so many years. Not a typical best friend thing because we just meet each other at least twice a year, to celebrate our birthdays in one and the holidays. So, it was a tradition for us to meet during the holidays. It’s our wish list thing granted thingy. Basta yun na yun. haha but some things happened that’s why we were not able to see each other. Bwes? There’ll be a next time. Hold on to my gifts muna…haha

Then for the New Year, we were at our province. It’s the first time for us to celebrate it there. We usually have it at our home. But now, my mom wanted to celebrate it there even though I really do not like the idea. To make things better, I joined my cousins to drink tequila…haha wuzz I kinda tipsy…who cares..haha

All these celebrations really give me joy. I am happy because I am with my family. Despite all those moments where you can see all the smiles and the laughter, there’s still the part of me that gives me low spirit. When I look back, it all makes me happy…but not completely. There’s sadness in my heart because my dad is gone. It’s been really hard to go through life loosing someone that you love and someone who really loves you. Everything’s changing. And personally, I don’t like changes in life. I just want to live in my comfort zone. Why can’t some things be normal? Like the way it was?

But I know that’s wrong. I guess, I just have to accept these changes...grow up and move on.

And to end this…

“hindi kumpleto birthday ko kapag hindi ko kasama si Irene.”

Those were the words of my dad during his last birthday last year. Together with our family, we went to visit him today…I miss him. But I know he is in a better place already.

Happy birthday daddy!

*I am in low spirit when I look back some of those moments.*

*But I know I have to walk in faith as I go through everything in life. *

ahh…fresh start… gotta get back…that life!

you'll be fine.

"There are moments in our lives when we find ourselves at a crossroads. Afraid. Confused. Without a roadmap. The choices we make in those moments can define the rest of our days. Of course, when faced with the unknown, most of us would rather turn around and go back. But once in awhile people push on to something better-something found just beyond the pain of going it alone and just beyond the bravery and courage it takes to let someone in. Or to give someone a second chance. Something beyond the quiet persistence of a dream. Because it's only when you're tested that you discover who you truly are. And it's only when you're tested that you discover who you can be. The person you want to be does exist, somewhere on the other side of hard work, faith and belief, and beyond heartache and fear of what lies ahead." – Lucas Scott

Alone. Confused. Hopeful. Faith.

These are the words that you can feel when life pretty hits you hard.

You feel that you are all alone even you are the surrounded by the people whom you love and who loves you. Some people will say that it is a lie. You are not alone in this world. But when you are that situation where you are so numb to feel anything that life brings you, you’ll understand the feeling of being alone.

These are the times that you’ll get all confused with your life. You do not know anymore what to do in every aspect of your life. There’s no direction that you can think of for you to follow.

Being at your comfort zones before, life can be simple yet you are happy. But when life pretty much hits you hard, you get confused. You do not know what to do with your life and to the relationships that you have with people around you. Things may not be the same the way it was like before. And that is hard to understand and accept.

All you want to do and think of is to get your life back!

Hoping that things will be better...

It can be hard and painful for you but you just have to deal with it.

Somewhere along the line, it will get easier. Try think positive too even if its hard.

And beyond the pains…dramas…hardships in life, lies something good ahead of you.

You just have to have faith and hope in everything.

Hold on to Him.

Hold on to yourself.

You’ll get through this part of the journey in your life.

Keep the faith!

Relax. Breath. Enjoy. Smile.

*nuff drama...you'll be fine.*

In dilemma

Ahhh… these past few days have been lazy for me. Good thing, I was able to go out and just hang at town today with Nina. (That’s the good side of having a friend who is somewhat a happy bum…haha)

I was at Powerbooks reading the book of Bo Sanchez on “How to find your One true Love” while waiting for her. Gah! I really have to have that book and read it!

(It’s been a dilemma on that part of life for me? hahaha)

Anyway… so when Nina came already…we talked for a while and went around to look and buy some stuff for ourselves. Haha selfishness! Oh… I have to buy that Fossil watch this weekend!!! And a gift for my sister! hehe

After that, we went to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf to just hang and talk about stuff… like? Umm…Like when you still want to be a BUM or to be a YUPPIE? Haha it’s more on her, Nina. She’s feeling sick right now and other things like work related stresses her more. Ahhh… dilemma on what to do with your career… start working next week or next year? NEXT YEAR na! Haha I’m such a BI. But I’m just saying what I think and feel. Its better to start next year…its untimely (?) to start work with the year ending already…haha labo! (And its also a plus for me! I have a friend around who is a bum too…haha)

From me, I still think its better to have a job when you are really ready for it, feeling good to do your job, and your prepared to do whatever is given to you. If not, give yourself sometime to think about it… there’s nothing to rush! Right?

A friend in dilemma.

(nice picture noh? Haha peace tayo Nina!)

Oh…friends in those kinds of circumstances really affect me. It’s like I’m also in their situation. Not knowing what to do sometimes … but its ayt! I’m learning! Yay! haha

But still…Awww… those dilemmas to what to do in life and in everything...makes you crazy? haha Hay… good thing for me, I’m still in school (at least for this week and next…haha). I’ll deal with the career thing and all when I graduate from school and get tired of being a bum. Haha I’ll travel around first …anyone wants to go with me? haha

I’ll enjoy whatever that I have right now…enjoy life, right?

…and have a cup of coffee with a friend!

Wahahaha Labo!
