galing mo captain...=)

this will be a quick one...
just minutes ago...DLSU won against UST! waaa
kudos to Coach Jack and the rest of the coaching staff that handled the team well without Coach Franz. [kahit na nakita ko si Coach Jack was a bit at lost at the last few seconds of the game...hehe its ayt. its still a good win! =)] and of course, to Villanueve for that winning put back shot! woot woot! hahaha
and yes, i wanted to blog coz i just wanted to say that Jvee Casio amazed me into today's ballgame.

(i rarely praise so much on a player. so i guess, this is something. haha)
i'm super amazed. haha yeah, i know he does have so many games that he played well. but it was just this game that i really had to let it out.
ang galing mo Jvee!!!
i'm just awed on how he handled himself...and the team. grabe! he did all that he could do even to the littlest thing to remind his teammates and all.
he showed true leadership on court. i guess, i don't need to see how can be a leader outside the court coz i know he is a good person...yeah...back in the days when...ugh, never mind. long story. haha basta he's a good person. super humble. that's why he is so blessed.
continue that one Jvee. stay humble and as good as you are in and out of the court!
galing mo captain! haha

sa-wàt dee khâ from BKK

Like all great travellers, I have seen more than I remember,
and remember more than I have seen.
- Benjamin Disraeli

sa-wàt dee (means hi / hello / goodbye in Thai)
sa-wàt dee khâ (put khâ as used by females)
sa-wàt dee khràp (put khràp as used by males)

This trip wasn't really planned. My sister and I just wanted to go coz my mom had a training there for a week there. And because I am kinda a bummer, I had the time to go through all those research thingies for our itinerary (though some of them were not followed. Hehe) oh...Thanks for all the help from websites, the people from forums, Mike’s Bangkok book (Thanks, Nina!), and Ira-“Thai guru”(?) haha.

Day 1 - My sister and I left home early. We were brought by Jim to the airport. We checked-In and were told that we were "pre-seated and requested for seafood and vegetarian meal?"...Oh yeah! haha then we paid travel tax then to the immigration thing (yay! haha) Then...Ate Mylynne was hungry so we bought food at Delifrance. then pics pics pics...hehe then wutt? We’re not seated together? Seat A and C??? uh, walang seat B po kasi. hehehe lousy...
neway, it was a good flight. It was the first time for me to experience to be pre-seated and have a special meal (before other passengers have their own meal. hehe thanks, Jim!).
Then we got to Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK’s newest airport). Dang! It was a long line at their counter thing. After that, we met Bee (KBS tour guide). We waited for some people who were under the same travelling agency. oh my...tagal nila. oh well...then got to the van. talk talk talk. wala lang. It’s nice to meet new people and talk to them...they're also Filipinos.
Then we checked into our hotel...then we met mommy!!! yay! After that, we checked our itinerary and just rested for awhile. We then just decided to go to malls.
We went around to Siam Paragon / Siam Center (like the GB here) and also ate dinner there. Ugh, food was spicy and too oily. =( I tried to finish my food but I can't. Good thing I had strawberry shake that made me feel better. yay! hahaha then we went to MBK (like the Tutuban Mall here?) to check it out and shopped a bit. Then what was next? We walked back to the hotel by walking?! waaa ='( it was hard to get a taxi, so we had no choice but to walk. Dagger! It was hot and all...feet hurts...but saving grace? Haha A good bed in the hotel. =)

Day 2 - My sister and I woke up early for breakfast and City tour of the PAL package thingy. We were able to go to
Wat Traimit / The Golden Buddha (pics, shopped, and Ate was given a bracelet by a monk),
Wat Benchamabophit / Marble Temple (pics, oh...it was really nice to hear other tour guides who were speaking Spanish. kakatuwa lang. I kinda understood them and felt like talking to them...hehe)
And jewellery / ruby thingy (there’s nothing much to say here…hehe).
After that, Ate and I checked out Platinum Mall (like the 168 Mall here?). We went around and ate our lunch there... (Food was a bit better? I think but…never mind=P).
Then we went back to the hotel and met mom with her friends from her training thing.
We all went to see The Royal Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew / Temple of the Emerald Buddha
(pics pics pics…lots of pics talaga. Haha it has an amazing temples and its architectural styles).
Then after that…ohhh…freakin' lousy taxi driver! We didn't know that the pier was near from where we were. So he drove us. Like hello? Not even a kilometer away and it cost us 50 Bhat?! Dagger! Screw you!
Anyway…we went across the Chao Praya River then road a taxi to get to Wat Arun / Temple of Dawn (pics pics pics...hot and tiring=(...oh well.) then back to the hotel...to rest. then we went Platinum mall again to buy some food. oh please? normal? so there...we got some KFC! hehe (And that was something! I don't really eat that much of their food coz I don't like fast foods and coz of what I saw and read from emails. Uh, nuff of that! haha so we got food there and that was something for me. No choice ako eh?! Hehe) Then we saw some street food? Looks good but eh?! hehe...then ate our food in our room. After that, we had some choco éclair and doughnuts at the hotel lobby while checking emails, forums and this multiply thing. yay! It’s nice to be back and be connected. LOL! Haha

Day 3 – We all woke up really early. We had breakfast (dang! I thought it was maple syrup. di pala! ehhh) then we were fetched for our tour at the lobby. We had the Ayutthaya Tour with several tourists at the bus. [Ayutthaya is Thailand’s old city]
We went to Bang-In Palace, a summer resort for Thai Royalty.
(pics...nice sceneries. Bridges. Tower. green fields with cute faker elephants…haha. royal halls. different architectural styles like Thai, European and Chinese.)
Then we went to Wat Maha That, a temple that is over 600 years old.
(pics...twas like you are in Intramuros with all those old structures. bricks. buddhas. towers.)
Then we went to Wat Na Phra Mane, has all those Ayutthaya architectural designs.
(pics...again, old ruins. Buddha’s. elephants, the real ones now. hehe)
Then we went to Wat Lokayasutharam, has one of the Largest Reclining Buddha images.
(well, I just saw it from the bus. Only mom and sis went outside to see and take pics.) At this point, I was super tired. Feet hurts again. And dang! It was so hot!!! (I think I had a tan already. Well, it's ok to get tanned but not in a tour?! Tanned from beach pa. Ok pa. hehe)
After that long tiring travel, we went on a boat for a cruise in going back to BKK. We had buffet lunch (I think this was the best food that I had for the entire stay at BKK...sarap!). Then had pics...and some side sceneries? hehe
Back to the hotel, we rested for awhile then we went out and bought some pasalubongs from the Kabuhayan store owned by Filipinos. And it’s nice to see and talk to kababayans who lives there. Hehe then we were supposed to Baiyoke but then...ahh..never mind. For dinner? ehhh...fast food again. oh this time, Mcdo naman. hahaha then rested...

Day 4 – woke up early. Breakfast. And after touring several temples, it's always good to visit your own...Catholic Church. We heard Sunday mass at Holy Redeemer Church. It still looks like a temple but has a cross on it. After that, waaaaaa shopping time! yay! I have to admit that this was the most fun thing that
I had at BKK. wahahaha. Got to shop so many things at Chatuchak Weekend Market. *happy happy happy* ...haggle? discount? hehe...got some things and clothes (ohhh…the dressesss!!! Love ‘em=)). Then back to the hotel to leave some things and rested a bit. Then back to Platinum mall for last minute shopping...again? Yes, again. hahaha it was fun! hehe then we ate again at KFC. Oh well. (Take away? oh...you mean take out! hehehe)
Then packed stuff for tomorrow.

Day 5 - breakfast. Got some mangoes? Eh? hehe green mango that tastes like guava?! hahaha then we were fetched by the agency. Then to airport. check-in. counter. Shopping? nah. just bought some chocolates at duty free. Then to the plane. pics. food. sleep. then back home. =)

trippings of bummers?

hay naku...mga wala talagang magawa?! hahaha
anyway....i got out of the house again yesterday... oh well...
i met up Nina and Belay for their continuous search for a good place where they can start a business... haaay...kung anu anong mga tactics ginagwa talaga para lang makakuha ng info. noh? hahaha but it was ok naman...
then tipid tipid? kakaiba. no ending of tasting dimsum(?) food. we ate at Paotsin to try out their food...
after that, we were in search for a laptop for Belay. First store pa lang, na sales talk kami? haha do we even look like we were in HS or in college? and not working yet? wahahahaha
nuff about that...but grabeng tawaran na nangyari...no more freebies?...or upgrade memory?...no more ipod?...and stuff like that...hehe and what was funny was that...a consideration was the look of the laptop that was compared of having a BF?! whoa! what the heck??? hahah basta...ang kulit!
and then after being so tired...we had some ice creams...
then off to... guess what?
mga walang magawa talaga! ...sa bingo lang naman po. haaay.
it was fun though even if we didn't win. (sayang ung kay Belay...na excite pa naman siya...hahaha)
after that...i had to go home early and left them...
oh well... mga trippings nga naman...

many things to come?

so many things happened this week...and so many things to come? i hope so...haha
let's see...
last Monday, i finally renewed my NBI clearance at Makati! yay! at least i accomplised it already while being a bum (oh...i just hope i get to find a work na...oh well)...

then i went to PAL ticketing office with my sister but we still had some booking problems that's why we weren't able to get our tickets yet...
after that, got to meet Belay and Nina. we had lunch together at food choices (oh anu? sawa na kayo sa mga siomai niyo? hahaha) then we went to this franchise thing for info. and it's so nice to experience it and learn a few things. haha it's like i was back in college and learning all those things in business...and it was fun =) and i am looking forward to their business and all (except sa mga kakulitan at kalkohan niyo sa akin. haha)

Tuesday and Thursday? as usual...had classes. yeah, sometimes i don't like what i am doing but most of the time, i am having fun learning the language. i just don't like being pressured to get all the answers right away. basta...yun na yun...haha oh...yeah...we so need to do a group review for the test...waaa

then Wednesday...twas a bit tiring...but it was fun. oh...instant gmk? haha sooo..educational huh?
i was again with the bummers...we went to Intramuros, particularly at San Agustin Church for Nina's brother, JC's project in school. we went with him and took pictures of the church and the musuem. haha ...mga feeling college pa rin kami. =) in fairness, we were learning from it...and i loved it coz i was able to take lots of pics! yay!
then after that...we went to the Food Expo at WTC. again, it was for their "search" for a good siomai thing...hehe oh, i was able to see Kor too and and it was nice seeing her and all the kulitan. haha then the bummers went around the whole time to get some food samples...we ate so many ... like ahem, siomai again...haha also some noodles....my fav bittersweet ice cream...the hero of Nina...and other freebies like the crocs thing...haha buti naman at nakakuha ka rin nun, Nina =)

anyway...some other things that i was able to find this week...
was...new songs! yay! thanks Renee for sending the mp3 songs of Claimed (tama ba? that's the name of the band? haha) basta it's the songs of Nathan Quinley. yay for new songs! ...and hope to meet them? LOL... they're really good...and i like their songs...ung mga unknown good songs...not the usual...and not everyone knows about them yet! hahaha =)

and also...on to footie...

yay for the Etheridge, Phil G. and Azkals! dang! i miss those mates! wahahaha
i really hope things will get better for the team and football in our country. waaa...more games kasi!!!
and oh yeah...belated happy birthday Phil! =)

and then onto another sports...yay! we won! even if i was only able to catch the 4th quarter, saya pa rin! as usual, galing ni Jvee and Rico. and nice game again by Mangahas, Villanueva and Revilla! yay! the team and its rookies are really getting better every game. hope it will continue =)

injuries all over =(

the game just ended...
DLSU - 62
UE - 68
i was supposed to watch the game live but for some reason...i had to stay at home. (next game na lang Janet? hehe)
well, i guess it was ok for me to miss it live coz we lost. haha jk!
anyway, it was a tough game. the other team really played well and led all the way. too bad for us...we were not able to catch them and sustain the momentum that we had at the latter part of the game.
of course, no excuses for the lost.
but i think a factor why we lost was because of the not the same rotation that was made?
just the start of the game, injuries all over for our team. =(
i was watching the game on TV...and i was pretty much scared when they focused Simon on the floor. you can see on his face that he is hurt...really winded. and you can see it in his eyes that something was really wrong...and to a point that i don't want to look at the TV coz of him. i just hope he'll be ok...
then next one to get injured was Batricevic. on to his knees again?
then next one was Mangahas who had a bad sprain...
then next one to get injured was Rico on his knees...
but both Mangahas and Rico was able to come back to the game but the first two wasn't able.
so...who wouldn't be disgruntled to the turn of events? right?
i guess the focus on the game was not really there and the other team really had it also...to revenge(?) to us.
anyway, just wanted to say some shout outs also to Villanueve who had a good game (offense and defense). and of course...to Jvee who did all that he can to lead the team. hats off to you!!! =)
oh well...
i just really hope that we can bounce back to the next games...with or without Coach Franz. haaay.

and also...yeah... i hope everyone will be healthy for the next round of elims...
no more injuries...please? coz it scarrry...hehe =)

ohhh...just to add...(at least, a good thing after that lost) ...i just leard that...
DLSZ won over ADMU!
woot woot! =P
