Football, anyone?

So... I was actually gonna share this with a friend of mine but uh, things were not good for her and it ended up not so good...

Anyway... the other day... I was scanning the channels on TV. And I saw the Philippine team playing football against Brunei. The team was winning even though there were really really lousy calls of the referee...I was excited to watch it coz I saw before on TV that there is that good *looking* player... fil-brit! haha Phil and James Younghusband! (new prospect!!!*I’ll post his picture next time?*) haha He really plays good and looks good! wahahaha la lang.. galing! They won! And they qualified to the next round! I think it’s in the ASEAN Football Championship 2007. And that's something! A sport like football is not much given attention (coz of basketball?) and there are talented players here in our country.

Then on the other channel, there was the game of Manchester United (I forgot against which team). It was also an exciting game but there was a lousy thing that happened. Cristiano Ronaldo was in front of the goal and the ball was passed to him and he kicked the ball so wrong! That it went out/up...hay… How stupid is that? In front of the goal?...facing the goal without the defender and the goal keeper? Come on! hay... lousy play! hay.. Good thing they won the game! hehe and uh, he looks good too (right janet?)...wahahaha labo! Connect di ba? haha

          ahhh... football/soccer...whatever you call it! It’s an exciting game for me! (Next to basketball…haha) not everyone knows but my first sports to like (kind of) playing was football! It started when I was in grade school…Every lunch time, all girls and boys would play together… aww... miss those happy days…haha And those memories were able to comeback to me especially with the last FIFA Cup! That was great!.. (though Brazil and England lost...)  And now with the several games that I’ve been watching...Real Madrid and Manchester United games are really exciting! Plus the fact some players look good! wahahaha that really adds to the excitement of the game! haha ang kulit!

so... I guess it’s not all about basketball, huh?

Life is complicated…we just make it worse.

 

There are so many things that happen in our lives. Sometimes we do not understand why these just keep on coming in even if we can’t help it anymore. It may seem that we do not like it at all. But all these are all for our own good. Although these events happen in our life, we still have to put in mind that all these are part of living the life that’s given to us…and we are not alone.

Yes, it will take time to understand it. (trust me on that!) But we have to just enjoy the journey of life…even if that’s hard to do. Sooner or later…you’ll be surprised with the life you have. Who knows what life can bring us, right? Miracles do happen.

 

Life can be beautiful. It's up to us how it can really be beautiful.

 

I guess...We just have to keep that faith and trust in ourselves and of course, in Him!

Finally! After months of planning to hang out, Cyrina and I was able to meet!!! (too bad..Janet and Lea were not able to join us.)

I was at Glorietta early and there was nothing to do. So I jokingly texted Ira about ditching her! (coz we have some stories about ditchin’ stuff...that we really don’t like…haha) but of course, I didn’t do that!

When we got there…we talked lots of stuff (like what?…umm..sa amin na lang yun..haha) then, we had lunch and went around to Glorietta and GB to find some gifts for others and for ourselves…but ended up, Ira was the only one who bought something for her (you won't regret buying that shoes noh?!)…but I was fine with that. Haha (oh..i got some Cds).

But the main “event” haha (of what Cyrina calls) of the “deyt” was her Starbucks’s treat for me!!! (Yay!)

It was her treat for being a yuppie (hahaha I know you don’t like that term, ira!) .. it’ll be my treat next time...like next year? Haha We went to 6750 for coffee even if we were in GB already…we just have to complete the card with stickers.. .coz I need to get that planner! Haha

So there! We just had fun the whole day! Just talking about some stuff… and uh…some stuff. Haha yun na yun...

 Its really nice to get in touch with your friends that you don’t usually see. After everything, some things are really just the same. The friendship is still there!!! haha

and of course, the fights? are so much fun!!! right? wahahaha

 

family celebrations...kids = joy

Last night, our family had some celebrations! It was the birthday of my mom and a send off dinner for my cousin, Kuya Elmer / Paps (off to work in Boracay for 6 months straight!) ! Haha

We were supposed to eat at Metrowalk but some plans were changed and it was so damn traffic! Grrr! My cousins wanted to eat at a seafood market… so, we ate there! It’s like the dampa style where you go to the market and buy then you let the people cook it for you...something like that...And of course, we all ate a lot! Haha

The food was all over the place! I was so full…after everyone was done eating, my sister took out the small cake that we have for my mom.  We all sang altogether to her! well… actually, it was really only the kids who sang…haha

And though our family celebrated without my dad, I know he’s happy for us too!... *missing him*

It was fun, especially I like being with the kids… haha

Oh life.

There’s so many things that are happening in my life that sometimes I get so bored or sometimes I just don’t wanna think about! Hayyy.

Good thing there are some things that I get for myself to enjoy…at least for awhile. Haha

A few days back.. I was able to browse FF and people there were sharing some new music…that’s where I get all the music that I am enjoying.. they are not that popular (which is good for me…haha) but their music are really really good..great! And I checked out a song! There’s a new version of the song ,“Time After Time”… and I really like it! After that, I got all the songs of that band...(and it took me so much time! hayyy.) They are called Quietdrive! Almost all of their songs are great! And I really like it! love it! haha they're all over my computer and mp3 now...

and uh, *quite* drives me crazy…haha
