3 days late for a round up of 2008?
Oh well. It’s fine. Haha labo.
So many things happened to me last 2008.
There have been good and bad times.
Let’s start with the not so good ones?
Hmm…I guess… it just sums up that I resigned…and until now I am still struggling to find a work. It had been frustrating to be unproductive and somehow feel unhelpful…and other negative things come into mind.
Oh well.
What else?
I guess…some relationships with other people have been not so good or nothing is happening…just disappointing.
Ok…
’nuff of that.
Good ones?
I’ll start with what happened way back and now…
Hmmm…
- Ninang Venia’s visited us. As a family, we traveled to different places…ate together as a family…lots of pics…and just enjoying the moment with her.
- My first time to celebrate my birthday with some co-workers. It was fun and I miss my friends back there!
- Traveled back again to Boracay for the summer. Yay! Just love the beach. And just being with friends…trippings and dressing up? hahaha =)
- Back to our home. It was a good feeling…after how many years, we got a new house.
And with the house blessing, both sides of the family and also with friends came around together. The house was a dream…and it’s a blessing.
- Spanish language classes. I love learning new things…and being able to gain knowledge of another language is really something. Aside from learning, I gained new friends. ¡genial!
- Thailand trip. I learned a new culture…and even with the freaking heat there, it was fun…and of course, just traveling with the family, doing some shopping and had my photography thingy! Yay! And oh, I also learned how to appreciate our own culture. Yea.
- TLC reunion. It was a one-great-night. It was a blast! Nostalgic?! Yeah. It feels good to see and talk to my long time friends. Awww…=P
- bummer days. Goin' around with Nina & Belay…for their business? Bingo? Ice cream making? Goin' to chool? For the tix? Games? Screwed? Oh well. Haha
- food trips. There were really great restaurants and food that I was able to try this year…hopefully, there'll be more. =P
- together with friends...year enders. A day with Bwes, Butas thing dinner and the chumsmas party. Eating together and playing games. Twas fun! Yay!
- family celebrations. Just being with the family…eating together. Talking. Catching up with each other…especially with my cousins and my pamangkins…And taking lots of pics…
And now…2009.
It’s been just days…and it's been good. Nice?! Yeah. hahaha
Ugh..Well, I should feel good.
Be positive and look forward to this New Year.

Right.
Hmm…Just the start of the year…
we celebrated and welcomed the New Year here at our house. It’s a new house…and we’re back! yay!
I just miss the traditions…especially in our neighborhood…lol
Our neighbors, that are also our close family friends, came here at home to eat with us…then next stop to the other house…then the other house…then back here at home to have some drinks.
Together with my sister and our friends…we had cocktails (coz I don’t like beer. hahaha). Some margarita and mojito done by our own bartender! hahaha
Then some SFC friends came by…to join us…we had some drinks…lots of food…
and the guys? Oh well. They were pretty much acting like kids…and doing all the crazy stuff that they can do with the fireworks. It was a fun night.
Ooops…not night? More of like a morning. Hahaha
we ended up around 6am already. haha
It was a good first day of the year…celebrating with Mommy & Ate Mylynne…and oh, Daddy was also with us. ( nice knowing he was there ;) ) and with our neighbors…family close friends…SFC friends. It was really a great one!
Then the next day…was the birthday of my Daddy. We went to San Pablo…we stopped by at McDo for some breakfast together with our relatives. After that, we went to visit our Nanay Geling…then to my Daddy. We prayed…then talk talk talk…
After that, we went to our house in San Pablo and had lunch with Tita Nery’s Family. It was really a fun lunch while we were watching some family videos in the past. It was sooo fun…laughtrip! seeing my nephews and niece who were still small and were so funny and so dang cute. Hahaha
Then after that…some shopping at Liliw. Just bought some new slippers. Hehe
Then for dinner…they went to our house. And just for a few hours, we had plenty of pictures just around the house. It was just fun. I sooo love my pamangkins even if they are sometimes a pain in the ass! Hahaha kidding! =P
Well…being with the family and friends…
I am thankful to those experiences that in my life.
There is joy beyond all the challenges in life.
I feel so blessed to have my family and friends with me.
And now…it’s up to me to do my best also to make the most out of my life.
And make my life better.
I hope and really pray for the best this 2009…not only for me but for my family and friends.
