its been...

our family went yesterday to San Pablo to go to Daddy with some relatives...
i don't know... but something unusual happened.
the eldest brother of my Daddy, my Tito Edy, was there at our Nanay's house...
when i got there...he cheerfully welcomed me with a big smile and a kiss.
and that is something he rarely does. and he did that. he did it like how my Daddy would do it.
and when i think about that...i get teary eyed(?) ...
i dunno... but i think its like Daddy let him do that to me...like sending a message...to feel him and to cheer me up. or maybe...Tito did that coz he knows i miss Daddy and i am close to him?
but whatever it is...it was one good moment. and i am happy about it...=)
oh well...
anyway...we went to the cemetery to visit Daddy...we also prayed together with some relatives who were with us...and it's just nice to see and feel the people who loves Daddy too...
and today, we offered mass for him...

time flies really fast, eh?
its been to two years since Daddy's gone...
i can't say that i am all ok...but i guess, i am just better now.
i still miss him. i miss everything about him...
i miss his sweetness...his jokes...his laughter...his smile...his hugs and kisses...just everything...
i miss him... i miss and love you, Daddy! =)
and i know i'll see you someday...

and yesss. you never know who'll step up in the team. and that is really good coz the opposing team would'nt really know who or what they'll expect. it is just so nice to see the team effort...=)
good game for Mangahas again...and to Rico and Jvee who's always reliable...=)
anyway, something was funny happened in the game. Joshua scored 6 straight points...that was good. but the funny thing was that when he wanted to be substituted coz he was palpitating(?)... hahaha too much energy? coz coach said that that would be his day...his game! haha
oh...i read in some forums that Migs and Martin was raising their arms when the DLSU alma mater was sung. yesss...still nice to know that they know where they came from.=)

gahhh...laziness is all over me again. nothing keeps me up these days...

the only thing that i can tell something about is my spanish classes. i am really enjoying it together with my new found friends. hahaha i really like my classmates. though we all come from different background, we all mesh together. haha and good thing we were separated from a big class. because...basta...yun na yun...hahaha sayang lang sa prof. super bait pa naman. oh well... i hope i can make it in this level 3...especially with the test, i hope i can pass! oh please....*prays*

what else? oh yeah...the workshop of mom in BKK is pushing through. so i guess, our trip too? gah! kainis lang ...i want to plan the trip but i dunno how to make plans when its an international thingy. haaay. oh well. good luck to my sister then! hope we can travel together there this august.

SaturDAY...with college friends

spent the day with college friends...
met up Janet at Glorietta...went with her to buy some new contact lenses
(ok na ba? better? you can see na??? hehe jk!)...
after that, we watched Dark Knight.
(yay! i finally watched a movie...i don't even know when was the last time i saw one...and its a good thing that Janet wanted to watch too. hahaha it was a good movie! i can really say that Heath Ledger's acting was a good one!)
anyway...finally saw Sheena and Van...after almost a year? tama ba? hehe
had a good dinner at Fish Out of Water then we headed to Max Brenner for some dessert!
(super sarap ng chocolates, Van!!! sayang...hahaha jk!)
it was a fun evening...just talking and catching up with each other! hehe

A Bum’s Blessing?

I was pretty much out this week. So many things happened.

Monday – I got a late call for a final interview the next day, early morning. Though I was feeling sick (which I forgot for an excuse), I still confirmed with them.

Tuesday – I was at the place early for the final interview. I got to see Lea …kwentos and all…hehehe umm…then about the interview, I think there was an emergency meeting that is why it was pushed back a little late. But I stayed on ‘til around 11:30am then told them that I had to leave for my class. I think they understood me naman. Then…
Gah! I went to school and was all wet. My feet =( it really rained hard and the wind was strong too. I met up my classmates for some salo-salo which I didn’t really know just until that morning. But that was fine...It was still fun. We had some discussions in class. We wrapped up the lessons and then went out the room. We had some chats with our prof while eating. I’m really happy just listening to their conversations. I really like learning from different people. It was fun! Then my classmates and I enrolled together for the next level. We had to talk things out about our sked before leaving. (oh well…hope we get the sked that we want…)

Wednesday – I found out that pranter was sick =( …(you ok na, Lea?) so I was having second thoughts of goin out in that afternoon coz she’s the one who really wants to go to the salon. Then there… while I was also on the phone talking to Belay about BKK, the convincing of Nina did it over at YM.
We went out and met at M&Co for some orders then to festi.
It was salon day?…haha Nina had her hair cut

while I had my hair spa.

Oh well. Just treating ourselves sometimes. Hehehe…then I bought some stuff and we went around. Got tired and we headed to Wendy’s for some snacks. Then pics pics pics. Haha and kwentos on what we really want to do…work? Bum? wutt? Haaay. (Thanks Nina, I had fun!)

Thursday – while waiting for Karen, my former officemate / friend, I had some mango drink at Starbucks (kakahiya to stay inside and not buying something kasi. Hahaha ). Then when she arrived, we headed to HR for our clearance! Yay! Finally! Then we went to the 3rd floor. We even asked the guard to call for our friend MM to come over. I was kinda shy just to go to their area. Then there..talk talk talk. Catch up some things? And nagpaloko? Haha MM and Trissa teased me about my back pay thing. So there…some lunch treat a Jollibee but it’s ok…it was fun with a lot of kwentos about work…people…and everything. After that, we went back to the office…then I visited some of my friends to the other team…hehe talks talks talks…then I saw my boss. Am here again? Kairita? Hahaha then after that…I had to leave. I met Ira and Janet for lunch. We ate some breakfast meals for lunch (labo?) and some tartas! We were so full. Sarap! And yeah..it was kinda our celebration for Janet’s bday? Tama ba? Hehehe We used my coupons from the planner (got a cheaper bill coz of that! Yay!)...then kwentos again…work…people…UAAP reunion game?…and all! After that, I went home early to catch up the DLSU game against UST!

Friday – wala naman… just here online…surfing the net…and blogging. Wahahaha and eating my HS favorite chocolate, Maltesers. Hahaha

So…why a bum’s blessing? Here’s why…(just realized now some of it...)
I can’t do all these things…go out and be with friends…attend some classes…watch games and others if I wasn’t a bum. right?
I get to learn new things…attend class…meeting and knowing friends…and enjoy learning Spanish.
I get to somehow pamper myself by going to the salon and buy some stuff.
I got cleared and got my back pay! Yay!
I have the time to meet former officemates and friends.
And I realized that quitting my job was a blessing!
Aside from all the things that I said…and after knowing some things…I can say that leaving work and being a bum was just...right!
It was such a good timing (I didn’t have to go through all the issues and stress that they have…basta yun na yun).
Thank you Lord for saving me!

even though we won, i knew some issues will come after that game. Fortuna, a former Junior Archer, missed those important shots of their game. i knew that some people will criticize him. but what the heck?! he is just a rookie and there is still a room for improvement. people should stop being unfair to him. pffft! i'm sure he'll be a star in the future and can give headaches to the teams...ok lang yan basta not against DLSU ah? wahahaha

and then so many issues weeks ago...and another one again on UAAP people. (kinda getting fed up of it!) the so-called people can be such unfair?! or they are just really that narrow-minded?
and then now? what? *? come on! what a way to say those things...

yeah... just do what you gotta do...haaay. i guess...when you are on the top, all the people will do and say such crazy things just to bring you down. EH?!
